Court Fence Installation
Lighting is important for night play. Our lights are made to focus the light onto your court to reduce lighting up the neighborhood and annoying your neighbors. Our lights are bright and provide excellent lighting for your court. We also have an option to order solar lights as well. The solar lights are not as bright, but they also don't require trenching and laying conduit to get power out to them. Solar lights are also more expensive for the light heads. They both use the same pole. We use poles that are thick steel poles so that they can handle strong winds. They are power coated black so that they will blend in with the rest of your Court Fencing and Court Accessories .
Lighting is not universally accepted among communities. Some communities require a permit for the lighting while others do not. Some of them have restrictions on how many lumens (brightness) your light can produce or even the height of the pole. You should check with your local city code for these restrictions. They can usually be found on their website. You can also call the building department for your city and they will often be able to find it for you.
While lights are not required for play, they add a huge value to your court. Allowing more time for you and your family to enjoy the outdoors and play on your court. Outdoor sports can bring your family closer together and teach health competition value.
For Pickleball Courts, and Basketball Courts courts on a 60x30 to a 64x34, we usually install 4 lights each on their own poles. We recommend 18' pole in order to provide good coverage for your court. For Tennis Courts courts, we recommend 6 to 8 poles that are 25' tall. These are just recommendations and can be adjusted to fit your needs. The lighting at these heights with appropriate lumens will provde good light coverage for your court as well as allow you to position your lights so that they do not shine in your eyes while playing.
